UK and Ireland

So it has been 2 weeks since I have returned from the UK and Ireland on my 3 week adventure. Now I had always wanted to go the UK and Ireland, partly from the perspective of wanting to follow the family tree lineage and partly because I associate more with the UK and Irish humour etc than the American style. I had also been fortunate enough to meet some lovely Irish people in Brisbane and this had instilled in me an even harder desire to venture abroad.

London. London was how i expected it to be, fast and furious, but also quite easy to get around. The weather was grand and everyone i bumped into seemed nice. To tell you the truth, i met more Germans, Spaniards and Polish than English, but it was still great. Felt like I was on a monopoly table. Brighton and Oxford were also great places to visit.  

Edinburgh. My favourite city. Very liveable and awesome people. The whole CBD is hundreds of years old. The city has a great history but with heaps of young University students.

Dublin. From my experience the people from Dublin say it is amazing. The people from outside of Dublin say it is shit. I could see both points of view. It is not the prettiest city. It is not sexy. However, it does get better at night and there are a lot of things to do and explore.

Rest of Ireland:- Ireland was beautiful. I was lucky and had great weather. I went all around southern Ireland from Laois, Ring of Kerry, Cork to Galway. I went on Paddywagon tours and had a ball. I highly recommend this tour company. The people in my tour were amazing, as was the guide.

 Yes, i did drink a lot and met some nice ladies...
